The Conference last Saturday was great!

The Suicide Prevention for Teens Workshop was well attended and well-liked by all the kids!

The Awards Ceremony had a lot of guests, including Rep. Bill Deeken, Rep. Charlie Norr, and Rep. Sara Lampe.  The three Representatives helped hand out the Awards for Child of the Year, Youth of the Year (there were 2 winners), Parent of the Year, and Community Support of the Year (there was a tie, so we had multiple winners).

LuAnn Reese, Coordinator for State-wide Family Organizations with the Department of Mental Health, received a Special Recognition Award.

We had information on several different programs and organizations displayed in the Resource Area.

A very big THANK YOU goes to Missouri Families 4 Families for allowing us to co-sponsor the Conference and Awards Ceremony with them; and for providing such an awesome facility to host the event.
